Julian Arana is an entrepreneur, exercise physiologist, strength coach, and personal trainer from Miami, Fl. Having been involved in sports and fitness since his father taught him how to do a pull-up at the age of 8, Julian developed an insatiable desire to learn about the body and how it moves. Julian decided to turn his passion into a career by studying exercise physiology, while teaching martial arts Krav Maga and Taekwondo on the side. 


After doing personal training for several years and earning a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Julian realized that there was a serious need for qualified fitness professionals who understood that the only sustainable training and nutritional regimen is a truly personalized one. In June of 2012, he founded B-Fit, a personal training organization that promised a personalized approach to each client’s exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle needs. 

Eager to learn from the very best, Julian attended the University of Miami and graduated with honors with a M.S.Ed in Exercise Physiology, with a focus on Strength & Conditioning. Julian and three UM colleagues founded an online strength & conditioning company called Correct Fitness Systems, where they work with athletes from all over the world. Using his experience from working with division one athletes, individuals of all ages, learning from some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, and the countless hours of reading through scientific research, Julian and his team developed a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to strength, performance enhancement, mobility, and overall fitness training. This training methodology was implemented directly into B-Fit.



Scott Johnson serves as an effective and knowledgeable strength coach at B-Fit who has trained individuals ranging from professional and collegiate athletes to pre and post natal clients. A graduate from the University of Miami with an M.S.ed in Exercise Physiology: Strength and Conditioning/Fitness Entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology.

While completing his degrees at UM, he assisted physical therapists in training professional athletes during the NFL combine, as well as summer NFL training in South Florida. Scott was also a member of the Performance Enhancement Team (PET) for the USA Sailing Team and traveled with the Team to the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics. 

Scott spent two years playing Junior A hockey in Connecticut, whilealso being chose as a member of Team USA in the Global Inline Festival and was selected as a member of the World All-Star Team. Scott is a two time national collegiate champion and two time All-American athlete, bringing years of competencies to the team. 



Sam’s passion for fitness and strength & conditioning stemmed from his dedication to athletics. As a high school athlete from a rural town in northern Maine, Sam relied on the guidance of his strength coach to improve his performance on the basketball court and in turn received the recognition of college coaches.

Aside from being the team captain of the men’s basketball team, Sam became an all around campus leader by involving himself in academics, community and charity work. While earning his Bachelors in Applied Exercise Science, Sam became a committed member and Vice President of the Exercise Science Club and a professors assistant. As a student fitness specialist Sam worked primarily with the university’s athletics teams, including soccer, basketball, field and ice hockey, and lacrosse.

After graduating, Sam went on to study Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Miami. Here he gained experience working under some of the industries most respected exercise physiologists, professors and strength coaches. During his time at the University of Miami he given the opportunity to work with their prestigious football team, the Miami Hurricanes.

Sam works with clients ranging from individuals with general fitness goals, collegiate and professional athletes, all the way to clients with extreme special conditions. His personal philosophy is that fitness and a healthy lifestyle will make people better in all things that they do. He is a firm believer that anything can be accomplished with hard work, commitment, accountability and proper guidance. Through proper guidance and proper education, he motivates clients to recognize and execute a plan to conquer their goals. Sam personally strives every day to expand his base of knowledge to help guide others in their pursuit of fitness.

Victor is a natural motivator who makes each clients’ experience a remarkable one. As the active manager for B-Fit’s Miami Lakes location, Victor has worked with clients of all ages in both a one-on-one and group setting. His personal philosophy is that keeping the training environment fun and fresh leads to consistency and sustainable results!



Louis was B-Fit’s first intern turned coach. His patience and ability to understand each client’s unique needs have allowed him to develop into an excellent personal trainer. Louis has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami and is currently working on his M.S.Ed.



An accomplished powerlifter and aspiring Olympic weightlifter, Ryan is always educating himself in order to optimize the effectiveness of his training programs. Ryan believes that people should enjoy working out, regardless of the training modality they choose. He has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and is currently working on his M.S.Ed. from the University of Miami. 




Known for her easygoing and understanding personality, Karina specializes in giving nutritional counseling that is specifically designed for each client. In addition to her extensive experience in the clinical field, she has worked with athletes, weekend warriors and those who were previously sedentary and are looking to lose weight. Rather than imposing her personal dietary guidelines on her consults, Karina finds nutritional solutions that are practical and sustainable for each client. Karina is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist.
